Feeding Harrow since 2017
Soul Kitchen was founded in 2017 with a simple purpose: providing free, freshly prepared hot meals to anyone in need across Harrow. Starting from a single kitchen, we saw firsthand how vital this support was for local residents.
As food poverty grew across the borough, so did our commitment to meet it. Over the years, we expanded from our original home into three distinct locations across Harrow — allowing us to reach more neighbours, adapt our services, and deliver both hot meals and essential food support directly into the heart of the community.
We work alongside local businesses, charities, and food supply partners to create a warm, welcoming, and dignified environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Powered entirely by volunteers, everything we do is built by the community, for the community.
In 2025, we stood alongside our community
Through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our supporters, every meal shared offered not just food, but dignity, warmth, and hope — a reminder that no one should face hardship alone. With continued support, we can reach even more families and continue making a real difference in people’s lives.
Support by any means necessary
Community work
We work with local councils and communities, offering support to the vulnerable by supplying essential items and food packs, handed out directly to the homeless and vulnerable families. We also partner with local schools to support families with free lunch packs — stepping in where conventional support systems can’t.
Emergency food
We can provide food vouchers, hot meals or food parcels that last approximately 3–5 days. Alternatively, we can signpost you to food banks who can provide support. If you or someone you know needs help, please get in touch.
Emergency essential items
If you need essential items such as winter clothing, hygiene packs or other support, please get in touch. We partner with local councils and other charities to provide items that normally get left out of conventional care packs.
“I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I feel towards Soul Kitchen, who ensured that the experience was handled both professionally and with dignity. It was a massive mental well-being boost for my children to receive their school uniform, and it was done very efficiently and effectively.”
“Soul Kitchen have been supporting many families in Harrow by giving food vouchers for supermarkets, doing food shopping and delivering it to families. This has made a huge difference and is a great support to vulnerable families. It is so heart-warming to have generous people like you in our community.”
